The Big Move

Sat Nov 14, 2009, 6:12 PM
Well, it has been quite a long time since I have updated this journal. I know I have been lax about it. Two weekends ago I helped a friends son with his Eagle Scout project. It was to move a century old out building (It has served as a chicken coop and a shed). He had prepared the building for the move almost a year ago. All other offers to help move it ran into some problem (broken truck etc.). I was glad that I could help. It ended up taking the whole weekend, but all had fun and learned a thing or two, myself included. Please check out some photos that I have posted about the move. There were a few obstacles to overcome and with help and suggestions from all the task was conquered! Three cheers for our friends Eagle Scout who did not give up, but persevered to see the project completed.

I hope yours was happy too. I had a lot of fun this weekend. I helped a friends son move an old chicken coop. I will post a new journal soon and some pictures.
